Best Time to Visit Dubai (And When to Avoid)

Dubai is a year-round city with a very un-year-round climate. Choosing the right month changes both your comfort and your hotel bill.

The sweet spot: November to March

Daytime temperatures of 20-28°C, beach weather, outdoor events and the Dubai Shopping Festival in winter. This is also peak price season — book hotels and Burj Khalifa tickets early through the options in our Dubai guide.

Cheapest: June to August

Hotels slash prices because it is 40°C and humid. If your trip is mostly malls, museums and indoor attractions, this is the budget window — just plan outdoor time for early morning and after dark.

Shoulder months: April, May, September, October

Hot but bearable, with prices between the two extremes. Many travellers find late October the best value of the year.

Ramadan

Dates shift each year. Expect quieter days, adjusted attraction hours and wonderful iftar evenings. It is a culturally rich time to visit if you plan around the schedule.
